The purpose of Catholic Family Services of  Prince Albert  is to provide a quality counselling service and offer preventative programs as well as advocacy for our clients.

I n 1984 the priests of the city of  Prince Albert  felt that there was a need to establish counselling services. The reason for this need was established by the demand of counselling put on the priests of the city. The priests could not address this need due to time constraints and other reasons. It was at that time, through the support of the clergy and volunteer help the agency was formed. Catholic Family Services is an agency operating under an affiliation with the Catholic Diocese of Prince Albert and the Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy of Saskatoon.

A membership makes you a part of a core group of people and organizations that support and help sustain CFS counselling services and programs. At C.F.S. we serve all regardless of race or creed. We believe there is hope for healing and personal growth for all human beings, and we strive to empower individuals, couples and families to live more meaningful lives. This membership also entitles you to receive a newsletter twice a year and be a voting member at the annual meeting. Charitable receipts are issued for memberships and donations over $10.00.
